April will be a busy and exciting month, full of conferences and airports! The latest EVE data has been analyzed (teaser: players self-reported far more transactional leadership behavior within the game than transformational leadership behavior) and I’ll present/co-present findings from a few more studies at SIOP and WPA. I expect to post summaries by the end of the April.

Monday, December 29th, 2008I just went live with a new study of teams and leadership in MMOs. EVE Online players can take the 10 minute pretest here (there are two 5 million isk lottery prizes). Those who wish to take part in the experimental session, a 20 minute resource gathering scenario that takes place within the game, should provide contact information in the pretest. There’s a 50 million isk prize to the “best” team and two more 20 million isk lottery prizes for teams that complete the experimental session and posttest. Thanks for your participation!
